Coaching & Feedback

Zoom, or phone, calls to discuss in-game at-bats for approximately 30 minutes per week. During these calls, our staff will review your at-bats and provide feedback on various areas of your game. This may include: in-game situations, swing, approach, and decision making.

Capture Game Data That Matters

You upload the in-game information and the Hitting Approach software does the rest! Our staff will analyze every at-bat and have a complete understanding of your game performance. These metrics are more valuable than the standard GameChanger data as this provides a full breakdown of each at-bat and decision a hitter makes as well as the result.

Professional Hitting Charts

Once you have entered in-game information, Hitting Approach will design a custom heat map along with a collection of valuable metrics that will allow our staff to identify areas to focus on. These charts are heavily used in College & Professional Baseball and now we can use it to help take High School hitters to the next level!

Hitting Coordinators

Casey Smith

Drafted out of Erskine College, Casey played 3 seasons of professional baseball and now runs Out Front Hitting in Chelsea, AL. Casey works with a number of MLB hitters including a MLB Batting Title winner.

Joey Lewis

Drafted out of the University of Georgia, Joey played 4 years of professional baseball before opening The Hit Lab in Nolensville, TN. Joey has coached over 40 College and Professional athletes in the past four years, alone.

Chris Colabello

A former D2 player from Massachusetts, Chris played professional baseball for 15 years and had over 1,500 hits in my career. Chris first reached the Big Leagues in 2013 and was playing 1st Base in the Jose Bautista Bat Flip Game. Chris is a co-founder of Pelotero.

Bobby Tewksbary

Bobby played D1 and Independent baseball. A co-founder of Pelotero, Bobby has worked with thousands of players of all ages - including pitching to one of his clients in the MLB Home Run Derby.
